We are moving towards 2030, more committed to the development of sustainable events.

El Panama Convention Center is recognized as a leader in meeting tourism in the region and a pioneer in environmental sustainability. We integrate green practices throughout our operations, demonstrating our commitment to a greener, more sustainable future. This comprehensive approach to sustainability is fundamental to our vision of leading the events industry towards greater environmental awareness and social responsibility.

During 2023, we managed to process and recycle 25,600 pounds of waste, a testament to our continued effort to mitigate the environmental impact of our activities. In addition, we have completely eliminated single-use plastics within our facilities, replacing them with biodegradable alternatives and tetrapak containers made from sugar cane.

We have set ambitious goals: to reduce water consumption and our carbon footprint by 25% by 2030. To achieve this, we have implemented measures to improve energy efficiency and waste management. These include optimizing our heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems, and installing energy-efficient lighting solutions throughout the facility.

The sustainability At PCC it also means educating and empowering our community. We are developing programs that inform and inspire our employees, partners and visitors to adopt greener practices in their own lives and businesses. Through workshops, seminars and collaborations with environmental organizations, we expand the scope of our impact beyond the walls of our center.

With these objectives we are complying with global sustainability standards and position ourselves as industry leaders of events, demonstrating that it is possible to hold memorable events and reduce the impact on our planet.
