The Panama Convention Center received cyclists from 27 countries in the Gran Fondo Ocean to Ocean

Panama, July 03, 2024 – The Panama Convention Center (PCC) received more than 3 thousand cyclists from 27 countries in the long-awaited Gran Fondo Ocean to Ocean. This sporting event, which was held on June 30, has established itself as one of the most important on the cycling calendar, standing out both for its magnitude and for its impact on the promotion of tourism in Panama.

«We are proud to have been the epicenter of a sporting event as important as the Gran Fondo Ocean to Ocean. This event not only highlights the country's natural beauty, but also attracts thousands of visitors, boosting tourism and the local economy. "The participation of cyclists of 27 different nationalities highlights Panama as a world-class tourist destination," expressed Rodolfo Del Valle, General Director of the Panama Convention Center.

The PCC promoted the promotion of tourism in Panama by serving as the arrival point for important events such as Gran Fondo Ocean to Ocean. At the end of the tour, the cyclists were received at the center's facilities, where they could rest and enjoy the services offered.

The Panama Convention Center, with 15,400 m² of exhibition area and 1,700 parking spaces, provided all the necessary amenities for cyclists and their companions. Its modern facilities and strategic location offered the perfect setting for the logistics of the event, ensuring an exceptional experience for all participants.
