Meetings tourism continues to consolidate its position as one of the strategic drivers for Panama's economy and international standing.
The Panama Convention Center's (PCC) 2025 Annual Report reflects how congresses, conventions, and international events continue to drive sectors
such as hotels, restaurants, transportation, logistics, and commerce, strengthening the country's tourism ecosystem. During 2025, the PCC received approximately 150
visitors through 76 national and international events, generating an estimated economic impact of US$36.8 million and more than 78 overnight stays

The report also highlights initiatives focused on energy efficiency, recycling, electric mobility, and reducing single-use plastics, aligned with the

growth in meetings tourism and the positioning of Panama as a regional hub for international congresses and conventions.
